Nature of Work and Employment
Agricultural educators prepare students to be successful in their professions and offer a lifetime of informed choices in global agriculture, food, fiber and natural resources systems. Careers in agricultural education develop engaged citizens who understand the importance of the agricultural industry to our world, while teaching them technical skills in all areas of agriculture. In addition to secondary and postsecondary education, educators can work in public service for private or public divisions as specialists in education outreach and curriculum development.
